This presentation weaves together finished quilts, works in progress, and the stories that live inside them. Participants are invited to look closely at quilts as objects, as problem-solving exercises, and as vessels for memory, curiosity, and meaning.

Through personal narrative and visual examples, I share how math, intuition, play, and life experience inform my work. This talk encourages reflection, conversation, and a deeper appreciation for process over perfection.

Shadow Appliqué Workshop

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to shadow appliqué, a playful layering technique that creates depth, surprise, and visual interest. We explore how transparency, color, and fabric choices interact, while leaving room for experimentation and individual expression.

The workshop emphasizes process and exploration rather than rigid outcomes, making it welcoming for a wide range of experience levels. Participants leave with both practical skills and new ways of thinking about composition and creative decision-making.
